For schools & IT teams
Mystery Missions is an educational platform for teacher-led elementary English practice. Students apply grammar, vocabulary, and reading skills through illustrated challenges in a connected mystery story.
Designed for classroom use, including ESL and EFL learners. Missions use educational game mechanics to make focused language practice engaging.
Most current missions are designed for elementary learners in grades 2–4, with the intended grade range and skills stated on each listing. Teachers should choose according to their students’ reading and English proficiency.
Practice past-tense verbs, singular and plural nouns, present continuous, prepositions of place, WH questions, comparatives and superlatives, and countable and uncountable nouns.
Read short instructions, descriptions, questions, and story clues. Use familiar vocabulary and sentence meaning to complete each challenge.
Current missions typically contain seven tasks and take about 30–40 minutes. Students can participate individually, in pairs, or as teams according to the teacher’s lesson plan.

Activities run in a web browser on a computer, Chromebook, or supported tablet in landscape orientation. Phones are not supported for mission play. Test the full activity on your school network and intended devices before your lesson.
Classroom participation uses nicknames or team names and session identifiers. Tracked sessions also store progress and timing information. Browser storage supports saved activity state and resuming on the same browser and device; nicknames and session identifiers should not be treated as anonymous data.
Vercel provides hosting and delivery, and Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and backend services. Read the Privacy Policy for data uses, service providers, storage, retention, and school data-processing questions. Schools should complete their usual resource and privacy review before use.
If a filter blocks Mystery Missions as “Games,” ask your school IT team to review it as a curriculum-based educational resource. Filter categories and school approval decisions vary; access cannot be guaranteed by changing a website description.
| Address | Purpose |
|---|---|
mysterymissions.app | Primary website, teacher access, and student activities. |
play.hotchocolateteachables.com | Earlier access address that may appear in older purchase instructions. |
These are the website entry addresses, not a complete technical allowlist. Images, audio, and backend requests may use additional service hosts. If the page opens but an activity does not load, IT should inspect the blocked requests and contact us for help. Approve only the specific hosts required; there is no need to allow all Vercel or Supabase websites.
Please review mysterymissions.app for classroom use as an educational English resource. Mystery Missions provides teacher-led elementary grammar, vocabulary, and reading activities through interactive mysteries. Teachers activate licensed missions and create classroom codes; students join with a nickname or team name without a student email address. Educational information and the privacy policy are linked at https://mysterymissions.app/marketplace/for-schools. If it is blocked, please review the category and consider an approved exception under district policy. Older materials may also link to play.hotchocolateteachables.com.
For access support, email mystery.missionsapp@gmail.com with the affected address, filter provider if shown, device/browser, and a screenshot of the block message. Remove student details, activation codes, classroom codes, and sign-in codes before sending.
